Submission Guidelines
1. Papers will be accepted as an oral or poster presentation.
2. Papers can be sent as abstract or full text.
3. Reviews will only be accepted as poster presentation.
4. The time given for oral presentation is 10 minutes.
5. The proceedings will be evaluated by ‘The Scientific Committee’ then decided to be oral or poster presentation.
6. The papers that do not match to the purpose of the congress and will not be approved by the scientific committee. The authors will be informed about the decline. will be informed to the authors.
7. The papers of the participants who do not register will not be accepted.
8. Name badges must be worn throughout the congress.
9. Scientific responsibility of the papers belongs to the author (s).
The manuscripts should be prepared by paying attention to the following issues.
1. Body of the abstracts and full-texts based on researches should be as Title, Authors, Affiliations, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and References.
2.Body of the reviews: Abstract, Introduction, Conclusion and References.
3.Abstracts should not exceed 350 words and should be written in a single paragraph. Abstracts in Turkish and English should contain a brief information about the objectives, material(s) and method(s), and results. Abbreviations should not be used in the abstract. Keywords should be maximum 5 words.
4. If there is any grant received by project (TÜBİTAK, BAP, Development Agency, Thesis Study, etc.) it should be stated in the paper.
5. Abstracts and full-text papers should be typed on Microsoft Word (7.0 or higher) using Times New Roman at single line spacing with font size 12 (bold) for headings and 10 for authors’ names and body text. Margins should be 4cm left, 2 cm right, 2,5 cm top and 2 cm bottom. Full-text papers are restricted to maximum 5 pages.
6. The first letters of the title should be written in capital letters. Author addresses should be given as automatic footnotes. Presenter name must be underlined.
7. For citation, references should be followed according to the Journal of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. (Click for the Journal).
8. References should be numbered separately according to the order of use, and the numbers should be indicated in parenthesis at the end of the sentence. for example, (1), (2,3), (4-7).
9. References should not exceed 15 sources in full-text papers.
10. Tables should be prepared in word using the automatic table menu.
11. Abstracts/Full Text Papers should be sent via online application form.
12. Accepted posters should be prepared in 70x100 cm dimension (vertical position) in such a way that they can be read from a distance of 1-1.5 m and should be boarded hanged according to the poster code.
